Note: Unlike apples and plums, pears need another variety of pear as a pollinator.

Patten Pear

Zone 3-7.  Patten is a large, late-ripening pear of excellent quality. Its flavor and texture develop over time and are at their best about one month after the harvest date. The Patten tree is also a good pollinator for other pears.  Limited Quantity!

Tyson

Zone 4-7. Medium- sized deep yellow fruit. Very juicy, sweet and aromatic.  Popular in Maine 100 years ago. 

Contessa

Zone 4-7. A favorite in the Maritimes.  Bright yellow, large and juicy fruit that ripens in September.

Stacyville

Zone 3-7. Originated in Stacyville Maine.  Huge trees, loads of fruit, excellent pollinator for other pears. 

Nova

Zone 4-7.  Juicy,  mild, and just perfect for fresh eating.  Pick late September.
